2019 Andiamo Motorcycle Charity Run: Andiamo Restaurant will host its 20th annual Motorcycle Charity Run on Sunday, September 8th at 10:20 am, bringing together nearly 1,000 riders and thousands of participants in one of New Jersey’s largest fundraisers on wheels.
This fully police escorted motorcycle run begins and ends at Andiamo Restaurant, 23 Hardenburgh Avenue in Haworth. The 50-60 mile run goes through areas of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York. An
after party will be held at Andiamo Restaurant following the motorcycle run including food, beverages, music and an exhibition of police motorcycle skills by some of the best motor officers anywhere.
Proceeds from the event will support the Englewood Health Foundation, Haworth Volunteer Ambulance, Special Olympics, Haworth Police Auxiliary, Andiamo Scholarship to St. Therese School, PMOTA, Joey’s Fund and other local charities. Don Dickstein, owner of Andiamo Restaurant, initially launched the run in 2000 to raise funds for the Cresskill Police Department, and has since expanded the event in support of additional charity beneficiaries.
