Haydn’s spirited “Gypsy” Trio\, Hob. XV:25 brings elegance\, virtuosity\, and irresistible rhythmic energy. Its nickname comes from the fiery finale\, Rondo all’Ongarese—“Rondo in the Hungarian style.”\n \nThe program continues with Schubert’s monumental Piano Trio in E-flat major\, D. 929\, a deeply expressive work filled with soaring melodies\, tender reflection\, and dramatic intensity. Tuo\, Serkin\, and Niessen bring together three international careers.
