SUMMARY:Glamour for Good: The Community Chest’s Annual Benefit at Alpine Country Club
DESCRIPTION:The Community Chest of Eastern Bergen County will host its annual charity benefit\, “Glamour for Good: Support One\, Impact Many\,” on Tuesday\, October 6\, 2026\, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm at Alpine Country Club in Demarest\, New Jersey. \nThe evening will be emceed by Emmy Award-winning television journalist\, producer and director Harry Martin. Net proceeds will support The Community Chest’s grants to nonprofit organizations and community initiatives serving people in need throughout eastern Bergen County. \nSupporting Local Nonprofits and Community Programs\nIn recognition of The Community Chest’s focus on food insecurity\, table decorations will feature fresh fruits and vegetables that will be donated to local food pantries after the event. \nFor 93 years\, The Community Chest has carried on its tradition of neighbors helping neighbors by raising funds through the generosity of individuals and local businesses and investing those resources in programs that strengthen the community. \nHonoring Community Leaders\nThe Community Chest will recognize the following Honorees: \n\nOutstanding Trustee Award: Matthew B. Libien\nCommunity Action Heroes: Diane Jansen and Walter Young\nCommunity Service Award: Korean Community Services\n\nLive Jazz and Evening Entertainment\nThe evening will also feature live jazz by the Richard Baratta Quartet with special guest Alicia Olatuja\, acclaimed mezzo-soprano and jazz vocalist. \nGuests will enjoy cocktails\, dinner\, entertainment\, community awards and a benefit auction. \nTickets\, Sponsorships and Event Information\nTickets are $275 per person\, $300 per patron\, and $2\,500 for a table of 10.
