DESCRIPTION:Free At-Home Screening of “The Tallest Dwarf” Offered Through Teaneck International Film Festival Series \n \nThe Teaneck International Film Festival’s Indie Lens Pop-Up series will present a free at-home screening of the documentary “The Tallest Dwarf” on Wednesday\, March 25. \nThe film follows filmmaker Julie Forrest Wyman as she explores dwarfism in her own family and searches for a sense of belonging within the little people community. Through personal stories\, conversations with other little people\, and historical context\, the film examines changing attitudes toward disability\, medical intervention\, and society’s understanding of physical difference. \nAlong the way\, Wyman connects with dwarf artists who use performance and creative collaboration to challenge stereotypes and reclaim their narratives. The film blends personal reflection\, community stories\, and discussions about culture\, science\, and representation. \nThe screening is part of the Teaneck International Film Festival’s (TIFF) Indie Lens Pop-Up series\, presented in partnership with PBS\, Indie Lens Pop-Up\, and The Puffin Foundation Ltd.
