DESCRIPTION:Riverdale’s Annual Labor Day Street Fair hosted by the Borough of Riverdale will be held along the Newark Pompton Turnpike from Newbury Place to Cotluss Rd. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This annual event is held on Labor Day Monday. The street will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event and will be transformed into a giant block party. \nLots To Do We have quality exhibitors selling a selection of assorted items\, a special arts & crafts section\, live entertainment\, kiddie rides & games\, great festival foods & food trucks\, and so much more. Don’t miss stopping by the many local merchants & civic organizations to see what goodies they are passing out. So Many Food Trucks Come hungry because we have over 15 food trucks and food vendors selling delicious sweet and savory gourmet foods. You can get sausage & pepper sandwich\, cheese steaks\, kettle corn\, chicken fingers\, ice cream\, zeppole\, shish kabobs\, gyros\, fresh cut fries\, fresh squeezed lemonade\, Italian ice\, oven-baked fresh pizza\, and so much more. Live Bands As you stroll along stop to have a bite to eat and sit at tables in our live music area. See the show we have planned with live music\, dancing\, karate demonstrations\, and more. Kids Area We also have the “Kidz Traveling Shindig” which is a section in the school parking lot area dedicated to children with kiddie bounce rides\, slides\, interactive blow-ups\, face painters\, sand art & kids’ games just to name a few things. \nThis family-friendly event brings the whole community together. Don’t miss stopping by the many local merchants & civic organizations to see what goodies they have. LIVE ENTERTAINMENT There will be 2 stages of live music. The local stage on the corner of 4th St. and Amboy Ave. will have local performers and music. The main stage on 5th St will have regional bands. Tables and chairs will be set up for you to relax\, sit and have a delicious bite to eat. FOOD TRUCKS Great food is the flavor of the day!
