Things to do in Bergen County!
Fair Lawn’s Old Library Theatre (OLT), the resident theatre company of the Fair Lawn Recreation Department, will present the unique musical Cardboard Trees and a Painted Moon from Saturday, February 7th to Sunday, February 9th. Performances will be held on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm, with a Sunday matinee at 2:00 pm.
This inspiring production is a celebration of hope, joy, and optimism, featuring the award-winning music and lyrics of Patrick Dwyer. Cardboard Trees and a Painted Moon is a heartfelt tribute to the vibrant, messy, and endlessly creative world of community theater.
This new “revue-sical” celebrates the diverse personalities who leave their real-world lives at the door and their hearts on the floor as they come together to form the cast of a community theater show. As their lives intertwine and intersect, these twenty individuals forge unexpected connections and discover commonalities as they form a community—both onstage and offstage.
Join OLT as they honor the people who bring the “community” to community theater.
