SUMMARY:Wallisch Homestead Flea & Vintage Marketplace
DESCRIPTION:Join us at our newest flea market location on the beautiful grounds of The Wallisch Homestead located in West Milford New Jersey. As a former dairy farm with a rich history\, it offers a glimpse into the community’s agricultural and cultural past. The Homestead features a main house from the 1880s\, along with a stone barn and creamery dating back to the early 1900s. It also boasts a lovely three-acre environmental walking trail that runs alongside Belcher’s Creek\, eventually flowing into Greenwood Lake\, and offers picturesque views of Bearfort Mountain. Owned by the Township of West Milford and the West Milford Board of Education\, this public space is becoming a popular venue for various events. The property is managed by the Friends of Wallisch Homestead\, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and adaptively reusing the Homestead’s buildings and grounds. At this event we envision a diverse array of vendors offering new items\, arts and crafts\, antiques and collectibles\, vintage goods\, furniture\, sports memorabilia\, gently used items\, and much more. In addition to the shopping\, we’ll have food vendors on-site and some light music to create a relaxing atmosphere. We encourage you to bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the lovely grounds. Through compelling storytelling\, the festival brings together filmmakers\, advocates\, artists\, students\, and community members to examine issues that shape our world while celebrating the creativity and leadership of women. \nAmong this year’s festival highlights are three acclaimed feature documentaries: The Delivery Line: Midwives on the Frontline\, directed by Nance Ackerman\, chronicles the extraordinary courage of Ukrainian midwives who continue delivering babies while navigating the realities of war. The film is a moving testament to resilience\, compassion\, and the unwavering commitment of healthcare workers on the front lines. The Bengali\, directed by Kavery Kaul\, is a deeply personal exploration of identity\, migration\, and belonging.  The Bengali tells the untold story of ties between South Asians and African-Americans in the U.S. In the late nineteenth-century\, men from India arrived in the United States and married African-American women. The men were Muslims; the women were Christian. Together\, they built families in an America that held them all at arm’s length. A Beast Touch the Mountain: Mountain Valley Pipeline and the Fight for Appalachia examines the ongoing struggle of Appalachian communities to protect their land\, water\, and way of life\, highlighting the determination of local women activists confronting one of the nation’s most controversial energy projects. \nThese films exemplify the festival’s commitment to presenting stories that challenge audiences\, foster empathy\, and encourage dialogue about the issues affecting communities around the world. As part of the festival\, Woman in Media – Newark will also honor five extraordinary women whose leadership and service have made a lasting impact on their professions and communities. The 2026 Trailblazing Women are: Desiree Hadley\, Newark Mayor’s Office of Film and Television; Rev. Eyesha Marable\, Assistant Vice President of Community Engagement  at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center; Elizabeth Parchment\, New Jersey Motion Picture & Television Commission; Theresa Perry Lewis\, Educator\, producer/director; Diane Raver\, founder\, Garden State Film Festival. Each honoree embodies the spirit of courage\, innovation\, and service that the Women’s International Film Festival seeks to celebrate. “Our festival is about more than film\,” said Pamela Morgan\, Executive Director of Woman in Media – Newark. “It is about creating a space where stories can build understanding\, inspire action\, and connect communities across cultures. We are equally proud to recognize this year’s Trailblazing Women\, whose leadership continues to strengthen our communities and inspire future generations.” \nSince its founding\, the Women’s International Film Festival has remained committed to making independent cinema accessible to everyone. Festival events are designed to encourage community participation\, elevate underrepresented voices\, and celebrate the transformative power of storytelling. Admission is free and open to the public\, reflecting Woman in Media – Newark’s commitment to ensuring that these important stories are available to all. SUMMARY:Ugly Kid Joe with Special Guests Wheatus and Platinum Moon
DESCRIPTION:Ugly Kid Joe  (a spoof on glam-metal outfit Pretty Boy Floyd) formed in 1989 around vocalist Whitfield Crane\, guitarists Klaus Eichstadt and Dave Fortman\, bassist Cordell Crockett\, and drummer Mark Davis.\n \n The group’s knack for crafting infectious pop-metal with touches of funk and a bratty\, parodic sense of humor was evident on their debut single\, “Everything About You\,” which went Top Ten and helped their EP As Ugly as They Wanna Be become the first short-form LP ever to be certified multi-platinum. \n \nWheatus: It’s been 25 years since the release of “Teenage Dirtbag”\, and somehow Wheatus’ now iconic debut single is arguably the biggest it’s ever been. And to celebrate this milestone\, the band returned to the UK and Ireland in November / December 2025 and played their debut album in its entirety each night. Platinum Moon opens the show!

SUMMARY:Dolph Lundgren - In Conversation
DESCRIPTION:Fights Worth Fighting by Dolph Lundgren is a powerful and unflinchingly honest memoir from one of the most enduring icons of action cinema. \nBest known for his role as Ivan Drago in Rocky IV\, Lundgren skyrocketed to fame in the 1980s and has since built a remarkable career spanning over a hundred films\, including producing\, writing\, and directing multiple projects. But beyond the on-screen battles lies a far more compelling story: the real-life fights Lundgren has faced behind the scenes. \nIn this deeply personal account\, Lundgren opens up about his upbringing in Sweden\, his rise from a chemical engineering student to a martial arts champion\, and his eventual transformation into an international movie star. He explores the pressures of fame\, the emotional and physical toll of life in a cutthroat industry\, and his private struggles. Now\, as he faces his most difficult challenge yet; a fight against cancer. Lundgren reflects on the cost of survival and what it truly means to keep going. \nAll purchased tickets include a copy of the book\, Fights Worth Fighting.

SUMMARY:Welcome Back My Friends - An Evening with Emerson\, Lake & Palmer
DESCRIPTION:Created by Carl Palmer and his management\, the tour is presented with the full cooperation of the Estates of Keith Emerson and Greg Lake. This is not a tribute act – This is the real thing. Through modern technology\, the tour reunites the band: Carl with his two bandmates\, playing together along with Keith Emerson & Greg Lake\, who both passed away in 2016. It combines Keith & Greg on giant video walls performing live from a 1992 Royal Albert Hall show along with Carl Palmer and 2 side musicians who are live on the stage. They all play together on stage!

SUMMARY:W.A.S.P. 1984 to HEADLESS With Special Guest KK’s Priest
DESCRIPTION:Few Bands in the history of Rock N’ Roll have ever incited the love\, the hate\, the raw emotional effect that W.A.S. P. has had on the world\nFrom the very beginning\, in the small venues of Los Angeles California\, and later to the numerous countries worldwide that banned these Winged Assassins from performing live\, the Band’s unique style of Shock and Rock caused Religious organizations\, Local City Councils\, Parliaments\, and the Washington D.C. Senate to hold hearings in an effort to bar this group from selling records and trashing stages everywhere they played. \nW.A.S.P.’s founding member\, frontman Blackie Lawless\, has led the group as its lead vocalist and primary songwriter since its beginning. His unique brand of visual\, social and political comment took the group to worldwide heights and sold millions of records alongside a legacy of sold out shows across the globe for 4 decades.\n \nAbout KK’s Priest You can’t keep a heavy metal legend down… Although it’s been over a dozen years since guitarist and songwriter K.K. Downing departed Judas Priest\, the iconic band he co-founded and played with for 40 years\, he was never really going to retire. It was only a matter of time before he reclaimed the spotlight. As his new album title proclaims\, The Sinner Rides Again.\nK.K. Downing has had metal coursing through his veins from the beginning\, starting in the Midlands region of England where Judas Priest was born. He compellingly chronicled his life odyssey in his 2018 autobiography\, and his recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame further secures his legacy as a pioneering musician\, songwriter and guitarist. As a founding member of the classic Judas Priest line-up\, Downing helped lay the foundation for the heavy metal genre as a whole. His distinct style of playing is easily identifiable\, he was part of a six-string duo that complemented and contrasted each other\, and they would progress to new levels of excitement. He has taken that ethos and applied it to KK’s Priest with impassioned results. For Downing\, KK’s Priest is not just a statement of intent. It is a statement of being. His lifelong heavy metal saga continues.
