DESCRIPTION:Molière in the Park’s DON JUAN Opening Night & “Heaven & Earth” Benefit Thursday\, September 10\, 2026 | 6:30–11:00 PM LeFrak Center at Lakeside\, Prospect Park | 171 East Drive\, Brooklyn\, NY 11225 \nMolière in the Park celebrates the opening night of DON JUAN with “Heaven & Earth\,” an Opening Night Benefit supporting the Brooklyn-based theater company’s mission to make professional theater accessible to all. Guests are encouraged to dress in black\, white or a little of both for an evening “between light and shadow\,” beginning with cocktails at 6:30 PM\, followed by the 7:30 PM opening-night performance of DON JUAN and an Opening Night Party at 9:30 PM. \nThe evening will honor Amanda Rae Hambrick\, founder of Raising Imagination and Minister for Justice and Intergenerational Organizing at Middle Church\, and is held under the patronage of the Cultural Counselor of France\, Mohamed Bouabdallah. Translated and adapted by Stephen Wadsworth and directed by Drama Desk Award nominee and Molière in the Park Founding Artistic Director Lucie Tiberghien\, DON JUAN is Molière’s provocative exploration of seduction\, hypocrisy\, morality\, accountability and power. The production stars Keshav Moodliar as Don Juan and Kaliswa Brewster as Sganarelle\, with Naomi Lorrain\, Daniel Pearce and Michelle Veintimilla transforming into more than 10 characters throughout the fast-paced production. Drama Desk Award-nominated composer Johnathan Moore provides an original live cello score. DESCRIPTION:New York–based trumpeter Andrew Wagner is an emerging voice in straight-ahead jazz\, recognized for his warm tone\, thoughtful phrasing and deep respect for the tradition. \nA graduate of William Paterson University\, Wagner studied with acclaimed trumpeter Jeremy Pelt and is a recipient of the prestigious James Moody Jazz Scholarship.
