With outside temperatures on the rise, it’s the perfect time to cool off inside The Shops at Riverside and check out some of the new stores opening this summer

• Mohan’s Custom Tailors (Level One, next to Cole Haan): Shoppers are already enjoying the new 3,827 square-foot Mohan’s Custom Tailors, which opened at The Shops at Riverside last month. Specializing in custom men’s suits, shirts and coats, Mohan’s provides its clients with over 10,000 fabrics to choose from for suits and coats and over 4,000 for shirts.

• Smashburger (Level One, near Pottery Barn): Burger lovers rejoice! Colorado-based Smashburger is bringing its cooked-to-order burgers to The Shops at Riverside in mid-August. The 3,028 square-foot location – the company’s first mall-based eatery in New Jersey – will offer its signature “smashed, seared and seasoned,” 100% Angus beef patties topped with the highest-quality cheeses, freshest produce and tasty condiments. Not in the mood for a burger? Try a signature smashsalad™ or smashchicken™ sandwich. Visitors to the burger joint can also chose from a variety of sides including smashfries, veggie frites, haystack onions and Häagen-Dazs shakes.

• Brighton Collectibles (Level One, near Bloomingdale’s): With a name that is synonymous with one-of-a-kind jewelry and fine Italian leather accessories featuring exquisite silver-plated accents, Brighton Collectibles will open at The Shops at Riverside in September. Established in 1991 with a single collection of belts, Brighton Collectibles has grown to become an accessory company with something for everyone. The 1,397 square-foot store will display handbags, footwear, small leather goods, watches, fragrance, jewelry and luggage.
