“Season of Miracles” at Berrie Center on November 30th: Holiday Stories from Different Cultures

Things to Do with Kids Presidents' Week in Bergen County

“A Season of Miracles” is a sparkling collection of holiday stories from different cultures including Christmas, Kwanzaa and Chanukah. Scenes within the play include O.Henry’s “Gift of the Magi,” E.T.A. Hoffmann’s “The Nutcracker,” “The Kwanzaa Kite,” an original tale by Ruth Fost, set in Nigeria; and a Chelm story, “The Chanukah Miracle.”

Crafted and set to music by Tony Award-winner Larry Hochman, this magical presentation is designed to warm the hearts and perhaps change the perspective of young audiences as they think about the true meaning and spirit of the holiday season.

This November 30, 2017 Pushcart Players production is recommended for grades 3-8. The performance will be held at the Sharp Theater at the Berrie Center for Performing Arts on the campus of Ramapo College in Mahwah, New Jersey from 10:00 am-11:00 am. Tickets are $8.00.
