NVE News: NVE Bank made a $1,000 donation to the Office of Concern Food Pantry at St. Cecilia Church in Englewood to fund the Pantry’s Product Protection initiative. The donation will cover the cost of purchasing durable storage containers to ensure that the food products collected through donations are adequately stored and protected against heat and moisture.
“As a Mutual Bank, NVE has deep roots within the towns we serve and is committed to ensuring that our communities remain healthy and strong,” commented Robert Rey, President and CEO of NVE Bank. “Through the years we have been fortunate to partner with the Office of Concern on food drive initiatives, and our staff members volunteer every Thanksgiving at the Pantry. So we have witnessed firsthand the amazing work that these dedicated volunteers do to assist our neighbors in need. We are grateful to have been able to purchase a new van for them several years ago, and are proud to further assist their efforts to help others through funding Project Product Protection.”
