This is the philosophy of the people who operate the extraordinarily popular Blue Moon Mexican Café. With three busy locations in Bergen County and additional locations in Jersey City and Bronxville, New York, the folks at Blue Moon have been spreading that "fiesta feeling" and a lot of great Mexican food, throughout North Jersey and beyond for more than 20 years.

At all of their restaurants, Blue Moon Café has managed to capture that friendly "neighborhood place" vibe, while serving up some of the best Mexican food in the New York Metro area. Blue Moon is a place to meet friends or go out with the family to celebrate special occasions. They really do present an upbeat welcoming atmosphere. Through their involvement with countless community causes and organizations, they've also become very well connected to the communities they serve. Everyone knows Blue Moon.

Owner Howard Felixbrod started Blue Moon Mexican Café in NYC in 1987 and he hasn't looked back. The real secret to his restaurants' success has got to be the food. The fajitas and guacamole are just great, but the most popular item on the menu might be The Fajita Moon, which is marinated grilled strips of steak with sauteed peppers and onions, sliced avocado, refried beans and Mexican rice all wrapped in a flour tortilla then smothered in melted cheese served with pico de gallo and jalapenos.

The best value on the Blue Moon menu is the Nachos & Sangria, which includes enough homemade tortilla chips tossed with melted cheese, salsa, jalapenos, refried beans, guacamole or sour cream to allow you to enjoy the Blue Moon experience on a budget.

There is a full bar at all locations and of course, you can count on authentic Margaritas and Sangria.

Blue Moon is kid-friendly, offers outdoor dining and also features semi-private and private spaces for special occasions and celebrations.
