Jack's Café
Bergen County residents don't necessarily have to make the long trip to Wildwood or other Shore towns for a first-class cheesesteak. Jack's Café in Westwood, New Jersey serves a cheesteak sandwich that will quickly transport you to your favorite beach town. Even the atmosphere at Jack's has a bit of that relaxed Jersey Shore feel.
This is a small family run place with a large Pascack Valley following and a solid reputation for exceptional cooking. The nightly blackboard specials are often interesting and always satisfying. The staff does a fine job of making regulars (and there are lots of them) and newcomers comfortable and happy.
Jack's Café is known for its special cheesesteaks. Fresh steak smothered with creamy garlic herb cheese and sautéed onions make this one of the area's great dining experiences. We would go as far as saying that Jack's special cheeseteak sandwich can compete with the best of the Jersey Shore or maybe even Philly!
Jack's is a BYOB restaurant which means you can enjoy a great meal on a budget. This is good news in summertime or anytime.
