The Valley Hospital holds Free Education Program on “Tackling Diabetes in Children”
The Valley Hospital Department of Community Health will host a free educational program entitled “Tackling Diabetes in Children” on Tuesday, March 6, at 7:00 pm in The Valley Hospital Conference Center, 223 North Van Dien Avenue, Ridgewood.
More than 15,000 children and 15,000 adults are diagnosed annually with type 1 diabetes. Join Ting-Wen A. Lee, M.D., Pediatric Endocrinologist, at The Valley Hospital for an educational presentation. Learn about the two types of diabetes in children and the importance of medical care and self-care to enhance quality of life.
