Gilda’s Club Northern New Jersey recently hosted a free educational lecture, “Ending the Silence for Ovarian and Cervical Cancer,” where a group of doctors from the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center discussed an array of topics related to ovarian and cervical cancer.
At the seminar, Dr. Donna McNamara, Dr. Babak Litkouhi and Dr. Ami Vaidya, spoke to attendees regarding the growth of cancer cells, the importance of the detection options, and the treatment of gynecological cancers. The seminar also included a question and answer session with the doctors.
This seminar is part of the free educational lectures Gilda’s Club NNJ provides to the community each month.
