The Maven Center, a physical therapy/fitness facility located at 4 Forest Avenue in Paramus, New Jersey is hosting the Maven Health Expo on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 7:00 am-12:30 pm.

This free event is open to the public and will feature a sampling of fitness classes offered at the center as well as health screenings and assessments. In addition, many local wellness partners (Vitamin Shoppe Paramus, SkinSense by Jackie in Englewood, Racefaster Ridgewood, and Paramus-based Meditation Expert Angela Miaoulis) will be onsite exhibiting their services. To close the day, attendees can enter a raffle featuring great prizes and enjoy a healthy lunch.

Maven Health Expo Schedule

  • 7:00 am-8:00 am: Adult Group Training. A high-intensity interval group workout featuring a combination of body weight movements, weight training, and suspension TRX training. Modifiable for all fitness levels.
  • 8:00 am-12:00 pm: Health Screenings. Maven Owner Dr. Taylor Lee will be providing physical therapy consultations, body fat assessments, and blood pressure measurements.
  • 9:15 am (ages 6-10), 10:00 am (ages 11-16): Kids Group Training. Children will learn basic functional skills with the perfect balance between fun and education.
  • 9:15 am and 10:00 am: Yoga. Two 30-minute sessions running parallel to the kids’ classes. All levels welcome.
  • 11:00 am: Mediation Class led by Angela Miaoulis (30 Minutes)
  • 10:45 am-12:30 pm: Preview and demonstration of VO2 max and RMR testing. Attendees who sign up to test another day will receive 50 percent discount.
  • 12:00 pm: After working up an appetite with the fitness classes, guests can enjoy a healthy lunch.
