“Heartstrings-Creative Ways to Protect Your Heart” will be presented in Holy Name Medical Center’s Marian Hall Conference Center, on Thursday, February 16 from 7:00-8:30 pm, in observance of American Heart Month.

Soo Mi Park, MD, HNMC cardiologist, will discuss steps to take to protect the heart, including early detection of disease and symptom recognition.

Ana Jimenez-Bautista, LMSW from REAL (Resource Education and Awareness by Latinos in Teaneck) will lead the participants in exploring creative self-expression of the heart’s emotions through poetry, including Haiku and Cinquain.

The program is free, but registration is required. Call HNMC’s Ask-a-Nurse at 1-877-HOLY-NAME (1-877-465-9626) to register or for additional information.
