The Frisch School: Paramus
Ms. Tikvah Wiener has been an integral part of The Frisch School faculty for many years and has crafted a department which values both individuality and parity among teachers. Her work with her own classes has made her a teaching star, popular with parents and students alike.
She teaches English and Art History with the zeal and knowledge which inspire her students not only to succeed but to value the struggle to succeed.
Over the years, Ms. Wiener has integrated new practices and technologies at The Frisch School. She has spearheaded the creation of online resources like the school’s Wiki project, and established an international collaboration between schools via the Web.
Wiener’s presentations to the student and parent body have broadened countless horizons and her work with other departments has made the cross curricular dialogue come alive. She does all this while running her own department and keeping track of the progress of her current (and former) students, constantly staying on top of the advancement or difficulty facing each person.
Tikvah Wiener cares and everyone sees that she cares. This inspires confidence and loyalty that makes her not only an asset, but a cornerstone of The Frisch School and a teacher making a difference.
