The Garage Theatre Group, a non profit professional theatre company and youth conservatory in collaboration with MarbleJam Kids will be offering an acting and improvisation workshop called Peer Vision, for teens age 14 - 21, at the Garage Theatre located on the campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck.
Peer Vision Improv and Acting Workshop is an inclusion program that allows for the integration of acting techniques and exercises with improvisation in a highly supportive non competitive environment for both kids on and off the autism spectrum. Peer Vision aims to support students particularly with challenges in social skills to help build more effective interpersonal relationship skills amongst peers.
Michael Bias, Founder and Artistic Director of GTG, who will be teaching the workshop says, "This is a new and innovative approach to inclusion so I look forward to exploring more and working with MarbleJam Kids."
