Bergen Community College’s Women’s Institute Presents Mentoring Session with Wom
 

Bergen Community College’s Women’s Institute presents “Meet the Experts Mentoring Session: Women in Education – Women College Presidents” on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Moses Family Meeting and Training Center on the College’s main campus in Paramus. The event is free and open to the public.

The event will feature a panel discussion with four women college presidents including Dr. Edythe M. Abdullah, President, Essex County College; Dr. Margaret McMenamin, President, Union County College; Dr. Nancy H. Blattner, President, Caldwell College; and Sr. Francis M. Raftery, President, College of St. Elizabeth.

Following the discussion, the panelists will conduct mentoring sessions with attendees. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions in small groups. The event will conclude with a networking session at 7:00 pm.

The Women’s Institute offers the “Mentor Program” to assist women in their journey to professional and personal growth and success. The “Mentor Program” is part of the Women’s Institute’s outreach initiative to introduce women to leadership opportunities in the community. Experienced volunteer professionals serve as mentors in a monthly series of two-hour mentoring sessions offered free of charge on the main campus in Paramus.

Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst.
