The New Jersey Children's Museum in Paramus, New Jersey is hosting their mini craft “fun-shops” once again this summer. There are different fun themes each week, and "fun-shop" workshops are held weekdays, Tuesday-Friday from 2:00-3:00 pm. Classes started on July 6 and will run through September 3rd. These “fun-shops” are free with paid admission to the museum.

"Fun-shops” are tailored for little visitors as well as their big brothers or sisters. No pre-registration is required, but there is limited seating. The following "fun-shops" are scheduled:

July 13-16 “Little Green Thumb” Decorate your own little flower pot and watch them grow all summer. (Plants start sprouting in a few days!)

July 20-23 “Model Magic” The museum will supply play dough ( non toxic) for the youngest visitors and modeling clay for the older kids. They'll show some basic modeling techniques and neat tools to use to mold their masterpiece.

July 27-30 “Just Stamp It” Use all different stamps and color pads to make cards and wrapping paper.You can even make a Pirate Treasure Map!

August 3-6 “Beading Bonanza” Come beading! They'll have all different types of beads for bracelets, necklaces and more. Not just for girls, they'll have cool stuff for boys too!

August 10-13 “Model Magic “ They'll have play dough ( non toxic) for the youngest visitors and modeling clay for the older kids. They'll show some basic modeling techniques and neat tools to use to mold their masterpiece.

August 31- September 3 “My Summer Adventure” Bring in your own photos from your summer vacation, camp and other great summer adventures and put them in your own book about YOU!
