“Stories Plus,” a free story and activity time for young children, will be held on Wednesday, August 18 at the Bergen County YJCC, 605 Pascack Road, Township of Washington.
There will be stories, a craft and a snack for children age two and younger from 10:30 to 11:15 am ; stories, a craft and pizza will entertain children age three and older from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Parents or caregivers, who are welcome to join in the fun, must remain in the building during the program. Books will focus on Jewish themes at this event, sponsored by The PJ Library® of Northern New Jersey.

Stories Plus is funded through a PJ Library Outreach Programming grant from The Russell Berrie Foundation. The PJ Library®, a project of Kehillah Partnership of Northern New Jersey, is a program for Jewish families with young children.
Each month, every child enrolled in the program receives a free Jewish-themed book or CD, along with a short parent resource guide. The program, created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, serves more than 60,000 children in over 135 communities in the U.S. and Canada. Since being introduced in Northern New Jersey last year, The PJ Library has enrolled over 1,800 children, ages six months to five-and-a-half years.
