The Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood kicked off its 2009-10 Kidz Cabaret Series in October and will continue to feature an exciting array of performances through early May.

Casey Carle’s Bubblemania provided a soapy spectacular earlier this month as the first of eight distinct entertainers who will highlight the bergenPac Kidz Cabaret schedule. Girl Authority will appear on Nov. 14, bringing their own unique style that has been compared to a G-rated version of the Spice Girls. They’ve appeared on The Early Show on CBS and have had a top-10 record on the Billboard chart.

Here’s a closer look at the entire Kidz Cabaret Series:

• Girl Authority, Nov. 14: It’s a girl’s world and you’re invited.
• Dirty Sock Funtime Band, Dec. 6: A rock band for kids that really rocks, the DSFB has been featured on Fox & Friends and the Fox Network.
• Audra Rox Live, Jan. 10: Rox is the queen of the New York City kid-rock scene and has been featured on Noggin.
• Dolphin Up a Tree, Feb. 7: It’s a performance based on the Myers-Briggs of personality types and the Howard Gardner theory of multiple intelligences.
• Illusionist Bill Blagg III, March 7: Grand scale illusions and Blagg’s unmatched personality highlight this show.
• Doktor Kaboom, April 11: An interactive one-man science variety show suitable for children of all ages.
• Rebecca Frezza and Big Truck, May 8: This 2008 Parents Choice Award winner has been featured on Noggin and PBS Kids.

All show times are 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and tickets are $17 each or three shows for $36.
